There are two ways to apply for documents - Online mode & Offline mode

Note: Due to present situation, Students are advised to avail the online option for issuance of Documents only.

Online Mode

  • Register/ Sign-up to create your account at support.ptu.ac.in and then Log in.
  • After login, click Create New Query.
  • Step 1: Add your qualification detail. If qualification detail already added, then select from the existing list.
  • Step 2: Select your desired service category and provide details.
  • Step 3: Upload all the compulsory documents and information regarding each document.
  • Submit your query
  • Your query details will be verified by the SFC team. In case of any discrepency in the information/ documents, SFC team will send an alert email to upload corrrect documents and re-submit.
  • Once verified, you will get an alert email to pay the online fees.
  • Pay online fee via net banking/ master card/ credit card/ debit card.
  • Note down your Query Reference No. and account detail for further tracking of document.
  • Message regarding the processing of required document will be sent to student's online login account.
  • Once query is complete, the SFC team will dispatch the documents and the document dispatch number will be available in student login account.

Offline Mode (Avalaible for Tatkal service / With Permission for specific Reason)

  • Visit Student Facilitation Center situated at Ground Floor, CB-1 Building near Gate no. 3 in I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University main campus Kapurthala, Punjab.
  • Request enquiry for application form regarding required document.
  • Attach all the mandatory documents regarding application.
  • Documents will be scanned and user name and OTP will be generated on your mobile no which will be used in near future for checking status of query.
  • Pay the Document processing Fee (HDFC Bank Facility available in University to submit Fee).
  • Application number ( unique query no ) will be provided to check application status on support portal.
  • Team SFC will dispatch it within its given time line and communicate the dispatch number on support portal.
